The
Decatur Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for
profit corporation founded in 2000 with the mission to nurture
and support academic achievement and enrichment opportunities
for all of the children and youth of Decatur, Georgia.
In
our short existence, a number of meaningful programs and funds
have been established that support excellence and innovation
in classroom teaching and provide enrichment opportunities
for both teachers and students in the Decatur community—our
goal being to ensure that every child has every opportunity
to succeed in school and in life.
